Hi guys. Been following this board for sometime now and its made me want to climb back on two wheels again after a 22 year abscence from riding. Well, after seeing all of your post about the savage it really made me want a savage but in my small town I couldn't find a used one in my price range. Well, yesterday (after receiving my income tax) I went to the Suzuki dealer and even though they didn't have a Savage in my price range they did have a beaufiful Kawasaki Vulcan that I could afford. Low milage, lots of chrome and a beautiful burgundy with custom pin stripes made my mind up for me. So, I bought it. With not even having a license to drive it I had my friend ride it home for me. He being an ex bike racer decided he would really check it out for me. When he got it home he told me it would fly. I asked why and he said he got it up to 100mph on the way home. SO I figure that is plenty fast enough for me. So, if you don't mind a Kawasaki owner being a part of this board, then I will contribute and hang around here with you fellow cruiser owners.
